Our Ethos
Health data is being bought and sold every day without patients’ knowledge, consent, or benefit. It’s de-identified, passed between brokers, and monetized at scale. Meanwhile, the people it actually belongs to are left without access, transparency, or control.
At Fetch, we’re building a better way.
We are a patient-centric real world data company—and that means patients come first in every part of our model. We don’t just advocate for data rights: we’re building the infrastructure to create patient-facing access to medical records.
What does that mean?
Built from experience.
Fetch was founded by Stacey Sweeney, who has spent the last decade working across healthcare, technology, and operations—focused on making systems work better for the people they’re supposed to serve.
Stacey was a founding team member at Ciitizen, where she helped grow the company from an early-stage idea into a platform that gave patients control over their medical records. Prior to that, she worked at Formation Bio, where she collaborated closely with clinical teams navigating the complexity of reviewing patient records for trial eligibility. That experience exposed just how inaccessible and fragmented health data is—even for the professionals who need it most—and solidified her conviction that patients should be at the center of the data ecosystem.
Earlier in her career, Stacey led operational strategy at Uber and developed her analytical foundation at JPMorgan and Citibank. She holds a degree in economics and brings a sharp, systems-level perspective to every aspect of Fetch’s model—from infrastructure to impact.
Fetch is supported by a network of collaborators and advisors who share a belief in transparency, consent, and building real-world data infrastructure that works for patients, not just around them.
